John W. Kotlan, 85, of Yakima passed away on Saturday, March 2, 2024. John was born in Chapman, Nebraska to parents John and Eunice Kotlan. John worked for Garrett Freightline as office manager for a number of years. He enjoyed family above all else, but also enjoyed photography, woodworking, camping and watching Television.
He is survived by his wife, Laura Kotlan, his son, Allen Kotlan (Susan), daughter, Lorie Ann Mack (Brien), three grandchildren, Sarina, Desirae and Tiffany; and his brother, Marvin Kotlan (Hazel) . He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents and three sisters, Jean, Viola an Joan.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. Friday, March 8, 2024 at Keith & Keith Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, March 11, 2024 at First Baptist Comunidad Cristiana, 112 N. Pierce Ave. Yakima, WA 98092 with a desert potluck following the service. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in care of Keith & Keith Funeral Home.
