Jim was born February 2, 1930 in Yakima, WA to Joseph and Angela (Massoth) Dorn.
Jim worked at Boise Cascade Mill, retiring after more than 40 years. He loved collecting coins, jigsaw puzzles, working in his rose garden, feeding wild birds and traveling.
Jim is survived by wife, Virginia Dorn of Moxee, WA; brothers, Glen B. and Jack Dorn both of Yakima, WA; step-sons, Robin Grass of Pilot Rock, OR, Colin Grass of Selah, WA, Bruce Grass of Garfield, WA, Jim Grass of Moxee, WA, Dean Grass of Metaline Falls, WA, and Ronald Grass of Yakima, WA; numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, and sisters Ginger, Juanita and Joanne.
