

Judith ‘Judy’ Lynn Dills, 72, of Vancouver, WA, passed away Friday, July 21, 2017. Judy was born on March 15, 1945 in Toppenish, the oldest child of Clifford Levi and Audrey Olive (Davis) La Bombard. Judy was raised in the Yakima Valley and graduated from Wapato High School in 1963. On July 10, 1965, she married her high school sweetheart Dewey Dills in Toppenish, WA. Their love story was a picture of devotion. Judy never recovered from the loss of her dear Dewey.
In Wapato, they raised their four daughters, Michele (Chuck) Daggett of Vancouver, WA; Chantel (Mike) West of Nampa, ID; Dyana (Ray Ayon) Dills of Wapato and Angela (Chris) Morales of Wapato. Her daughters blessed her with nine grandchildren, Adam, Josh, Sophia, Alexandra, Justin, Anthony, Sean, Gabriele, and Mya. She was further blessed with a great granddaughter Jemma.
In her teen years, Judy worked at the Wapato Theater, but worked most of her adult life as a bookkeeper in the produce industry. She worked many years at Intervalley Produce and then Calhoun Fruit and Produce until her early retirement. After her retirement, she and Dewey moved to Vancouver, where she lived until her death.
Judy’s family was everything to her. She was happiest when surrounded by family. While raising her daughters, she would often arrange for large extended family camping trips. She could be spotted riding dirt bikes at the gravel pits or a street bike to and from work.
She is survived by her four daughters, eight of her grandchildren, her great granddaughter, siblings Cheri La Bombard, of Wapato, Tom La Bombard of Selah, Shirlena La Bombard of Wapato, Valerie Patt of Wapato, Vicki (Roman) Barczyszyn of North Las Vegas, NV, and Tammi (Randy) Steward of Yakima, along with numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, her grandson Adam Daggett and her parents.
Arrangements are under the directions of Keith & Keith. Flowers should be sent to Keith & Keith. Services will be held Thursday, July 27, 2017, at 10:00 A.M. at the Langevin-El Paraiso Chapel at 1010 W.
