Passed away at her home in Selah with her family bedside on July 31, 2012 for a Heavenly “Oh Happy Day” reunion with the greatly missed love of her life, James G. Burrow who preceded her in death on Jan. 11, 2012.
She was a checker at Jerry’s Market when she met Jim prior to working at Safeway as a florist and a checker for nearly 35 years.
Jim and Judy were married in the First Baptist Church on Yakima Avenue and lived in Selah for over 45 years.
She had a born-again love for her Savior. Beginning at Selah Bible Baptist Church in the late 60’s and continuing on at First Southern (The Cross Church) until April 2009. Over those years, she enjoyed being a Sunday school teacher, prayer warrior, singing in the choir, sending out cards, flower gardening, sewing and canning as long as she could. She enjoyed providing people’s needs in many ways, time and time again without expecting anything in return over the years simply because she felt God’s nudge, going about it without fear or hesitation. Teaching kindness and witnessing to family, friends and even strangers. Full of action, not just words.
Survived by children and spouses, Dan and Jean Burrow of Yakima, Jerri J. and Paul Clark of Selah; brother, Stanley Ball of CA; grandchildren, Aleassa (Adam) Jarvis of Ohio, James (Jena) Burrow of MN, Philip Burrow, his soon to be wife Elliot and son Westley Bliven of MN, Ben and Megan Clark of Selah; great grandchildren, Lily, Jackson, Marcus (Max) Jarvis and number 4 on the way; brother & sister-in-laws, Dave and Linda Jacobs (Burrow) of Terrace Heights, Cecil and Carol Rose (Burrow) of Tulsa, OK, J.F. and Bonnie Burrow of AR; nieces, Brenda Millard, Stacey Jones, Erin Jacobs and Patti Woods; nephews, Brad, Ronnie and Jeff Ball and Jeff Jacobs.
