

Julius P Reisenauer (J.P.) was born in Castor, Alberta Canada to John and Caroline Reisenauer in 1930. The Family moved to Mandan, N.D. where he was raised until joining the US Navy being stationed in Norfolk, Virginia. After being discharged from the Navy Julius returned to Mandan to marry Dorothy Bahm. Together they traveled to Washington State to start their family, living in Goldendale, Kennewick, White Salmon and settling in Yakima in 1963. J.P. worked for El Paso Natural Gas Co. retiring after 30 yrs in 1985. Julius enjoyed wood working, making numerous wooden knick knacks for family and friends. Also, one of his greatest pleasures was traveling with his motor home club “The Apple Rovers” to various locations in the US and Mexico.
Julius was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years Dorothy, parents John P and Caroline, brothers John & Joe and sister Clem. He is survived by 3 sons Mike (Shirley), Steve (Barbara), John (Martha) grandchildren Kristina, Nathaniel, Katie, Matthew, Kyle & Allison.
The family wants to thank the staff and nurses from Landmark Care Center, Memorial Hospital and North Star Lodge for the wonderful compassion and care.
Visitation will be held Monday July 20, 2015 at Keith and Keith Funeral Home from 4 pm to 8 pm.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday July 21, 2015 at Keith and Keith Funeral Home 11:00 am.
Graveside Services will be following at West Hills Memorial Park.
