Our Heavenly Father wrapped His arms around our angel, Madolyn Michele Davis, 24, on October 20, 2019 to take her home. Madolyn “Mady” was born to Ryan and Rian (Zeigler) Davis on May 20, 1995 in Yakima.
Shortly after her birth, Mady’s parents moved the family back to her Dad’s hometown of Montesano, WA to work on his family’s dairy farm. When Mady was 2, they moved to Federal Way / Northeast Tacoma area and in 1998 Mady became a proud big sister to her little brother, Zane Davis.
Mady attended Northeast Tacoma Elementary from kindergarten until the 4th grade, when the family returned to Yakima. Mady attended Wide Hollow Elementary and remained in West Valley where she graduated from West Valley High School in 2013. Mady became a proud big sister again in 2010 when her little sister, Harper Dixon, was born.
Mady’s biggest joy was hanging out with her friends and family; making everyone laugh, lend a compassionate ear, an encouraging note and a comforting hug. She loved hiking and exploring the outdoors, going for walks with friends and playing Pokémon GO with her Mom, Zane and Harper. She adored her 5 cats: Puddy, Poe, Polly, Magpie and Pterodactyl, and her sweet dog, Denzel. She enjoyed her career as a barista and dreamed of owning a coffee shop of her own. Mady was an avid collector of vintage video games and consoles.
Mady was a whole lot in a tiny package. She made friends easily and was very thoughtful and caring. She did things her way and those who knew her well, were reminded of that. That was our Mady and we love her for all that she gave us.
She is survived by her parents, Rian Dixon and Ryan Davis, brother Zane Davis and sister Harper Dixon, her stepparents, Troy Dixon and Cindy Davis, as well as her loving grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. She is also survived by the love of her life, Trisha Brunnenkant. She will be loved always in our hearts and remembered lovingly in everything we do.
A celebration of life will be held at Heights Foursquare Church on Saturday, October 26, 2019 at 1 pm. In celebration for Mady’s love of her favorite fashion staple, we’d love to encourage her friends and family to wear plaid / flannel.
