Marcie Perry

Marcelline (Benoit Collier) Perry, 78, of Selah, Washington, passed away on Wednesday, July 02, 2014 at Regional Hospital in Yakima. She was born in Yakima, Washington on October 22, 1935. She graduated from St. Josephs Academy. She was married and raised their children with Mickey Collier. Marcie met Richard Perry August 2008 and they married Dec 9th, 2010. She was a hairdresser and owned her own shop then worked as a CNA at Good Samaritan for 25 years. She was an insatiable reader, loved driving adventures, fishing and boating, and spending time with her friends and family. She had a special knack for creative unique gift giving.

Marcie is survived by her husband Richard, her two brothers Michael Benoit, Richard Benoit, her two sisters Helen Shultz and Yvonne Benoit. Her six children Denny (Sherry) Collier, Greg (Suzy) Collier, Vickie (Dave) Damon, Susan (Greg) Salas, Robert (Cyndie) Collier and Valerie (Mike) Cawlfield, loving grandchildren, nieces, nephews and large extended family. Marcie is preceded in death by her parents Maurice and Dorothy (Sherry) Benoit.

Viewing will be from 4 to 8 p.m. July 10, with a rosary vigil service at 6 p.m., at Langevin-Mussetter Funeral Home of Yakima. Funeral Mass will be at 2 p.m. July 11 at St. Paul Cathedral; Yakima. Monsignor John Ecker of St. Paul Cathedral will be officiating.
