Martha was like a second mom to me. Her daughter Nicole and I have been friend's for several years. They lived right behind my family and I, when I was growing up.  Many day's and nights, I stayed over at thier home and vice versa. Nicole and I were inseparable for many years. This family is definitely my second family. We all love Martha and will miss her very much. Until we meet again Martha, Rest In Paradise and fly with the angels <3 

I want to say this that Martha Nelson my mommy was the most wonderful amazing woman that God could have ever put on this Earth she loves everybody she helped everybody she was kind loving caring person gave her shirt off the back to somebody that would have already screwed her over she took in her kids friends and adopted them az her own children she was more than a mom to anybody and everybody she was a wonderful sister daughter mother granddaughter wife great-granddaughter great grandma grandma and very good friend to everybody she was a solid down to earth Christian woman who believed 100% in our Jesus Christ she always went out of her way and dropped anything that she was doing to help anybody and everybody she was a lifesaver to neighbors she helped them when they were in the mostest of need and she financially physically emotionally mentally helped them she would give any of her kids or anybody her very last penny before she would spend it on herself and now our Father God has taken her home to be with him where she no longer suffers in pain she has a full healthy strong body again and she is now our angel watching over us telling us don't do that, do that. make sure you do it on time, don't be late she was an absolutely amazing woman that is going to be very very much missed and she is very very much loved thank you everyone that had part in her life for everything you ever did for her thank you for the people at her church and most of all thank you Jesus Christ giving me the mother I had and now making sure that she will see me again I love you mommy Martha Nelson and I will see you again and I'll make you proud of me.

Martha and I have been friends since we were kids  we have been through so much together we always shared everything  in my heart we have and always will be Sister's  l have always felt so very blessed to have this beautiful soul in my life  l love her with everything bit of my heart and right now it's breaking 😢   💔  she loved her family her friends and God. anyone that was blessed enough to know Martha was truely blessed  she has always been such a big part of my life and my  to my kids she was always Aunt Martha  l love you Sissy l know your with God and  he's taking care of you. and there's no more pain  . l love and miss you dear lady. Memorial Service

Martha is survived by her 3 Children: Ken, Nicole and Christopher Cavanaugh, also by grandkids & great grandkids and sister Phyllis Maybee, all of Yakima.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, mother Betty Harmon, father Bill, and brother Ken Hartzell.
