Myla moved to the Yakima Valley as a young child and attended Highland and Naches schools, graduating from Naches in 1945.
She met and married Leonard “Sonny” Stoffer on Oct 22, 1947.
Myla worked many years packing fruit and as a meat wrapper until retirement. Camping and spending time with family and loved ones were her greatest joy. She would never turn down a game of pinochle or Yahtzee. Myla was never a complainer, every time you asked her how she was, she would answer, “I’m fine honey”.
Myla is survived by her husband Leonard “Sonny” Stoffer; two daughters, Charlene (Don) Mullinnex and Gail (Dan) McLaughlin; a sister, Paula Goodwin, and two sister-in-laws, Nadine Hinze and Lois Hinze. Sonny’s half brothers, Kenny and Mary Poole, Charles and Nelda Poole and Dick and Ruth Poole and numerous nieces and nephews. Four grandchildren, Ryan (Angie) Ringer, Randy (Melissa) Ringer, Stephanie Ringer and Misty (Ryan) Sandefur. 8 great grandchildren, Samantha, David, Lily, Kendra, Ryan (Bubby), Isaiah, Keely, and Riley.
Myla is preceded in death by parents Ernie and Pearl Hinze, brother’s Dallas “Bud”, Carl, and Ernie Hinze, and daughter Kathryn “Kitty” Joy Stoffer.
A special thank you to Memorial Hospice and family members for their love and support.
