

Nichole Lyn Beery, 22, born March 22, 1987 in Yakima Washington passed from this earth on September 18, 2009 in a tragic automobile accident. Nikki attended grade school in the Yakima Valley until she moved to Redmond Washington and there continued her education. At the age of 16, Nikki was diagnosed with ovarian cancer and began a courageous battle of which she won. Once Nikki was able to re-enter school, she did that just like everything else full force. While attending BEST High School, she was Class President and was a Student of the Month in the Greater Seattle area. Nikki loved to modeling both hair and runway. Nikki was always busy either with school or working, hiking, swimming, camping, cooking, entertaining and traveling. She sampled various careers such as retail, talent scouting for a modeling agency, her own cleaning business, dog walking, daycare and organics. Her love of animals drove her to volunteer at a veterinary clinic. She never said no to a pet, at one point she had two dogs two cats and a flying squirrel. Her love for school brought her back to Everest College where she earned a degree as a Medical Assistant in November 2008. Nikki had decided due to her love of anything outdoors was committed to continueing her education at Central Washington University to study Wildlife Biology. She loved people and there was no person that crossed her path that she wouldn’t help, there was always room at NIkkis Inn lol never wanting anyone to be alone during the holidays!! Nikki was a sports enthusiast, loved basketball and soccer though willing to play any sport in school. She was a HUGE Hawks fan and could always be heard watching Football on Sundays and Mondays. Nikki also loved all things outdoors – best outdoors woman her dad ever saw and was very excited about her first hunting adventure. She was a wonderful cook and made the absolute best blackberry pies ever! Laughter could almost always be heard when she was in the area.Nikki will be eternally missed by her mother Dianna L. Beery, her father Arthur Beery, Jr.,her brother Beau Beery and his sons Cole, Laisen and their Mother Janell Buchanan of whom Nikki considered a sister, her Aunt & Uncle Linda and Jacob Cook, her Aunt Debbie, stepfather Tom Gabbard and her many cousins David, Felicia and Jocelyn Alexieff, James Thomas,Tyler and Tiffany Alexieff, Shannon, Willy, Samantha, Alison, Kaylie and Owen Baker, Jacob Lucey, Joshua Rosenburg, Shane Rosenburg, Jeremy Bertram, Fiancé John Ward, Best Friend Shannon Sims, her constant side-kick Jada and an amazing and loving network of extended family and friends. In passing, Nikki joins her grandparents Clayton and Donna Rosenburg and her Uncle Jim Rosenburg. Nikki, you gave us all so much laughter and we will all miss you more than words can say, We love you. Visitation and viewing will be held from 3:00 until 8:00 p.m. Thursday and Friday and 9:00 until 11:00 a.m. Saturday morning at the Keith & Keith Ninth Avenue Chapel.
