Patricia Ann Sowder

Patricia Ann Sowder (Patty) 80 years old, born March 14, 1934 in Ripley, Oklahoma and passed away on March 10, 2015 surrounded by her beloved children and family. She retired from Delmonte Corporation of Yakima Valley and was a longtime member of the Nazarene Church of Union Gap. Her passions were for Christ, her paintings and writing poems.

Patty was preceded in death by her parents Carl and Lois Galloway of Moxee.

She is the Dearest sister to Sharon French of York PA; Loving mother to Kathryn Wahl of Mountlake Terrace, WA, Ronald and Tammy Frick of Madres OR, Suzie Smith of Union Gap, WA, Tammy Leahy of Yakima WA, Douglas and Debbie (Smith) Fridley of Fenton, MO. She is also the Loving Grandmother of 11 grandchildren, Great Grandmother of 23 great grandchildren and Great Great Grandmother of two great, great grandchildren.

It was the request of the deceased for any monetary donations to be made to the American Heart Association or Susan G. Komen to fight Breast Cancer.

Visitation and viewing will be held at Keith & Keith Funeral Home on Friday, March 13, 2015 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
