Phyllis was the middle child of three girls: Pat (Dick) Hacker and Geri (Jeff) Lancaster. Both parents, sisters and a brother-in-law preceded her in death.
She is survived by her three children: Laurie (Dwight) Daub, Tim Franks, and Barry (Sheila Mulvey) Franks. She leaves behind nine grandchildren: Gentrie (Aaron) Hineline, Bryce (Carlee) Daub, Brittany (Brett) Valicoff, Hillary (Nathan) Robey, Courtney (Allisa) Franks, Kevin Williams, and Niall, Jazz and Phoenix Tatoris; eight great-grandchildren with one on the way; and many nieces and nephews.
Phyllis was mainly a stay-at-home mom raising three children with her then husband Stan Franks. In her later years she worked various jobs until she retired. Her favorite joys and hobbies included her devotion to family, reading, crocheting, knitting, dogs, volunteering at dog rescues, spending time with friends and socializing.
While living in Illinois, Phyllis was a member of Milledgeville Church of the Brethren.
The family would like to thank the staff at Ponderosa Assisted Living for the help and care they provided to Phyllis these past few years, and a special thank you to Dr. Paul Tompkins at Cornerstone.
