Ralph Lee Hudson

Ralph L Hudson, 81, passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side on March 14th, 2011. He was born April 5th 1929 in Athol Kansas. Ralph moved to Tieton in 1955 and has been a resident there since then. Ralph was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved spending time with his grand kids and great grand kids. Ralph was a long time employee of Snokist Growers and retired a foreman in the early 1990's. Ralph married Verna Burge on March 8, 1950 and raised three children together until she unexpectedly passed away in March 1988. Ralph has spent the past 20 years with his best friend and companion Virginia "Rae" Stone whom was by his side when he passed away. Ralph was a member of Bethel Community Church where he came to know his Lord and Savior.

He is survived by his loving partner, Virginia Rae Stone of Cowiche, WA, a daughter, Lori Putas (partner Joe Petrich) of Naches, WA, two sons, Paul (Cathy) Hudson of Tieton, WA and Terry (Nadene) Hudson of Tieton; seven grandchildren; five great grandchildren and five sisters, Phyllis (Benny) Arnold of Kansas City, MO, Elma Ruth (John) Konvalin of Kittitas, WA, Mary Calhoun of Yakima, Carol (Jim) Johnson of Tieton and Sue Fordahl of Yakima. Besides his wife Verna, Ralph was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Grace Hudson, one sister, Maybelle Hudson and two brothers, Gene Hudson and Loyal Hudson.

Visiting hours will be from 4 until 8 p.m. Thursday at the Keith & Keith Ninth Avenue Chapel. Funeral services will be held at the Keith & Keith Ninth Avenue Chapel on Friday, March 18, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. Keith & Keith Funeral Home are entrusted with the arrangements.
