Renee' Claire Alice Adams

Renee' Claire Alice Adams, age 86, was born on December 7th, 1939, in Ramsgate Kent, England. Daughter of Robert Bernard and Renee Ethel Cook. A beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully Tuesday December 9th, 2025, in Yakima Washington, surrounded by her family.

In 1955, Renee' met the love of her life Delton Carl Adams, who was serving in the United States Air Force and stationed in Margate Kent England. Their romance blossomed quickly, and a year and a half later in 1957 they were married. After Delton completed his Air force career, he brought his young bride to live in the United States where they built a life together grounded in love, family, and devotion.

Renee' began her working career as a fruit packer at Jack Frost, but at the age of 25, she made a significant career change into the banking profession. She devoted 32 years to banking with Pacific Northwest Bank, later to 1st Interstate and Wells Fargo, retiring in 1996.

One of Renee`s many proud moments were when she became a US Citizen on October 16th, 1995, celebrating with family and friends.

After Delton’s retirement in 1997, he and Renee' enjoyed many adventures together, including numerous motorhome trips to Alaska and spending winters as snowbirds in Arizona. The friends they made while traveling were remarkable and to this day, they all keep in touch.

They cherished time with their grandchildren, taking many trips to Westport, Anacortes and Rife Lake, where they taught them how to go crabbing, oystering, clamming and fishing. Delton delighted in teaching the grandchildren how to fly huge kites, while Renee' lovingly captured countless moments through photographs preserving the incredible family memories they shared together. Renee’s greatest joy was her family.

Renee' and Delton were blessed with four children: Tina Renee Adams (Dave Hilton), Janette Marie Adams (Thomas Weed), Tracy Lyn Adams (George Town) and Robert Dale Adams

They were also blessed with six grandchildren: Robert Adams, Kelsey Fifer, Bryan Weed, Tonya Weed James, Eric Town, and Ryan Town.

Three Great-Grandchildren: Wyatt James, Carter James and Avery Weed. Renee' loved her grandchildren with all her heart.

Renee' lived a life marked by strength, grace, and unwavering devotion to her family. She will be remembered for her warm presence, resilience, and the love she shared.

Renee' is survived by her husband Delton Adams, 3 daughters, Tina Hilton, Janette Weed (son-in-law Thomas Weed) Tracy Town and her brother Robert Cook, sister-in-law Jane Cook and niece Claire Cook

Renee' was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Bernard and Renee Ethel Cook; her son, Robert Dale Adams; her grandson, Eric Town; and two sons-in-law, Dave Hilton and George Town.

Services -

Renee' chose to wait and have her Celebration of Life when she is reunited with her loving husband of 68 years Delton Adams. They both requested to be celebrated together as they did in their 68 years of marriage.
