Robert Hayden Copeland

He was born in Wild Cherry, Arkansas on January 5, 1928. He married Margie L. McVay on Dec. 7, 1944. They moved to Yakima, WA where he spent most of his life in construction and watch & clock repair. He was a member of the Full Gospel Holiness Church in Yakima.

Robert is survived by three brothers, Kennard Copeland, Lanis Copeland and Leon Copeland. two daughters, Lynda Kyzer and husband Emmett and Loretta Albright and husband Desmond of Doty, WA. Five sons, Dale Copeland and wife Judi of Yakima; Jerry Copeland and wife Janet of Yakima; John Copeland of Yakima; Ken Copeland and wife Ann of Issaquah, WA and Bill Copeland and wife Margaret of Yakima. Seventeen grandchildren and many great and great-great grandchildren.

Robert was preceded in death by his wife Margie L. Copeland, three sisters Ethel Atkins, Edith Elliott and Willie May McVay; four brothers, Paul Copeland, Harold Copeland, Ray Copeland and Dale Copeland; son Robert L. Copeland; granddaughter Paula Kyzer and grandsons, Gene Kyzer and Paul Copeland.

Visitation will be 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. Friday, January 27, 2017 at Keith & Keith Funeral Home.

A funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 28th at Rainier Memorial Center with burial following at Terrace Heights Memorial Park.
