
Bob was born on December 1, 1927 to Christian and Josephine Hansen in Aalborg, Denmark. He was the youngest of five children.
At the age of 22, he went to Sweden and worked in the shipyard. Bob served in the Danish Navy.
Bob came to the United States in March of 1954, at the age of 26. He became a U.S. Citizen on November 30, 1959.
He worked installing gas lines in North Dakota and then later went to work for Burlington Northern Railroad for 32 years.
Bob married Olive Marie Smith on November 27, 1974. They were married 32 years. Bob was preceded in death by his wife, Marie, his parents (Christian and Josephine), two sisters (Phyillis and Sylvia), and one brother (Edward).
He is survived by a son, Mike Rhynerson (Shirley), of LaCygne, Kansas, a daughter, Pam Eisfeldt of Olympia, Washington, 6 Grandsons, Jason and Justin Eisfeldt, Richard, Jesse, Joseph, and Lester Rhynerson, a sister, Bernice of Aalborg, Denmark, 11 Great Grandchildren, and 2 Great Great Granddaughters and many nieces and nephews.
Bob was a good, honest, caring, and loving gentleman, husband, brother, father, uncle and friend. He will be missed by all that knew him.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at Terrace Heights Memorial Park.
