

The Family moved to Redding, Calif. where Robert completed his education. He was involved in ROTC and other school functions. The family then moved to Yakima in 1958. Robert met and married Sue Hopper in 1960, they had a son, Robert C. Nichols in 1962. Sue passed away shortly after giving birth. Then he met Barbara L. Brown, they married in 1964. They had one daughter Tammie L. Nichols. They were married 46 wonderful and devoted years.
He loved his CB radios, drawing beautiful pictures and cartoons for Barb. He loved getting on his motorcycle with Barb and driving in the country. He loved going to Canon Beach, Oregon and walking on the beach. He owned his own business until he retied for health reasons.
He is survived by wife Barbara, daughter Tammie, grandchildren Ashley and Garrick; two great-grandchildren Quentin and Mercedez; two sisters Rita (Ron) Harpy, Janet (Gale) Distler; one brother Troy (Dee) Nichols; numerous nieces , nephews and cousins who loved him dearly. He is preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Arlene.
