Thank you Ruby (Rhoton) Von Essen for all your love, being our safe haven, understanding our hearts, being our friend, always listening, sharing memories, makings us feel loved, laughing at our jokes, understanding our tears, and just being you. We thank you and will miss you but you will always be in our hearts and we will be honored to share our memories of our love for you. Family was the most important thing to you.

Phyllis, Louise (Bob), David (Linda), Connie (Harry) will miss their mom deeply. Your grandkids, Robert, Chris, Angela, Randy, Cheryl, Harry Jr., Christa, Lesa, and Laura have wonderful memories of being with you and draw strength from your love.

Your legacy lives on with the great-grandkids: Austin, Chelsea, Dalton, Timothy, Dominick, Zachary, Savannah, Colton, Lexy, Jesse, Jaden, Joshua, Amanda, Justin, and Evan; great-great grandkids: Haile, Austin Jr., Jamison, Embyr, Berlyn, and more to come…

Ruby Belle was born on 3/22/1924 in Pyatt, Arkansas. Moved to Yakima area when she was 11. Leaving behind her older sister, Stella. Grew up in the Naches heights area. At 17 she became Everett Von Essen’s wife. Helped Everett manage several orchards while having and raising their four children. Worked at Good Samaritan for many years. But mostly she always enjoyed the time she could spend with family.

This is not good-bye because Ruby will live on through all of us who loved and knew her. We will pass on to the future generations the legacy of love she gave to each of us.
