Sandra was born to Kenneth and June Phillips on September 26, 1946 and passed on October 2, 2015 at Cottage in the Meadow.
Sandra is preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Don Vance. She is survived by her two children, a son Rod (Linda) Vance and a daughter Tracy Gray.
She spent her whole life taking care of her children; and she really found her calling when she was blessed with two grandchildren, Mandy Vance and Hunter Vance. She loved and adored them both, and was a wonderful grandma.
Sandra loved to read (true crime), listen to music, and watch old John Wayne movies. She will truly be missed by her family.
We will remember her as a very strong and wonderful mother and grandma.
We would like to thank Cottage in the Meadow, and especially those who helped take care of her (Rhonda) and her hospice nurse (Natalie); you have been blessed with the gift to care for others.
A Graveside Service will be Friday, October 9, 2015 at Tahoma Cemetery at 2:00 p.m.
