

Travis Lee “Flip” McKitrick, age 44, passed away on July 31, 2023 in Yakima, WA, after suffering a sudden cardiac event. Travis was born to Bryan and Georgia McKitrick on May 9, 1979 in Yakima, WA. Travis graduated from Eisenhower High School in 1997. He stayed in the Northwest, moving to Spokane, Tri-Cities and returning to stay in Yakima several years ago. Travis worked as a card dealer at the Caribbean Casino, which he loved. He enjoyed playing and refereeing basketball, and excelled in soccer and baseball during high school. His most recent passions were fishing, golfing and mushroom hunting. Travis was very charismatic. He is survived by his parents, a daughter, Camille Lee McGuffy (15), his sister, Tarah Lynne McKitrick and brother, Adam Miller. Travis was preceded in death by his canine, best friend, Chizzle. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the local humane society.
A visitation for Travis will be held Tuesday, August 8, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Keith & Keith Funeral Home, 902 West Yakima Ave, Yakima, WA 98902. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, August 9, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Grace of Christ Presbyterian Church, 9 South 8th Avenue, Yakima, WA 98902.
Travis will be laid to rest in Terrace Heights Memorial Park.
Serving as pallbearers are Eddie Vega, Keith Byrns, Chuck Huck, Phillip Vega, Wes Mayo and Adam Miller.
