

Victor Lawrence Zorrozua Ugalde of the Basque descent, 66, of Moxee, WA, was born August 9, 1948 and died at home Oct. 3, 2014. He went way too fast to the glorious place in heaven. He is preceded in death by his father Victor V. Zorrozua and his mother Consuelo Ugalde Zorrozua, sister Flora Ritson Zorrozua, and brothers Jim Zorrozua and Adrian Zorrozua.
Born to Victor & Consuelo Ugalde Zorrozua of the Basque country in Northern Spain, he was born and raised in Yakima & attended East Valley schools in Moxee, WA. He was an honest, hard worker for the family business as well as a truck driver & businessman for Ace Hardware. He started his own trucking co., West Star Transportation. Victor was deeply dedicated to his family, work, & he was a HUGE fan of the Seattle Seahawks.
Magda Mendez Salomon was the life in his every day and the love of his life. She brought out that precious, young love that we all so long for. They shared unconditional, true love, trust, and faith.
He is survived by stepson Roy Patterson, daughter Julie Bretches, sister Sally Beitinger, three grandchildren, Jordan, Matthew, and Tanner, one great grandchild, Bailey, nieces and nephews, Connie & husband Michael Johnson, Jody Ritson, Bill Ritson, Katherine Ciocia, Michael and wife Kelly Riston, Jodi Zorrozua, Jimmy and wife Myra Zorrozua, Rob and wife Missy Zorrozua, Kim Tvedt, Staci Wells, Jamie Burrough, Brad Bietinger, and Eric and Lisa Zorrozua.
Victor left behind the legacy of being true to his soul. He was such a gracious man who was deeply loved by all who embraced his presence. Having this legacy with our Basque heritage has been a driving force within our family and community.
A Memorial Service will be held at Langevin-Mussetter Funeral Home on October 18th at 1:00 PM, 1010 W. Yakima Ave., Yakima, WA 98902. Family Service arrangements have been entrusted to Langevin-Mussetter Funeral Home in Yakima.
