Virginia Rose " Pat" Dorn

“Pat” was preceded in death by her son Joey Grass, her late, devoted husband James Dorn, and her numerous brothers and sisters. She is survived by her sons Robin (Cathy) Grass, Colin (Madonna) Grass, Bruce (Joanne) Grass, James (Carol) Grass, S. Dean (Kathy) Grass, Ronald (Carmen) Grass, fifteen grandchildren, and fifteen great grandchildren.

She was born in Toppenish, WA to Alvie and Hazel Bishop on July 23, 1932. In life she worked at Bailey’s Jean Factory in Yakima, WA and as a cook at Crescent Convalescent Center, but the “job” she devoted her heart and soul to was raising her six boys. She also enjoyed fishing, camping, and picnicking with her family. Later in life she enjoyed traveling and visiting casinos.

We would also like to acknowledge our families gratefulness for the wonderful care that Cottage in the Meadow brought to our beloved grandmother and mother.
