Frank E. Johnson (my grandfather) and Donald M. Johnson (my uncle) were role models for me and no one could have better role models.  To be considered like them is to me the highest honor one could have.

To his girls and their families who have our prayers and remember that one day we will see both he and his love Donna again.

Oh how my memories of uncle Don flood through as I think about his great laugh and twinkling eyes. He was such a kind and gentle man that loved life. He and his wife, Aunt Donna, were 2 people I loved being around when I was growing up. When I was 10 years old, they were only 21 so, of course, I thought they had to be the coolest aunt and uncle anywhere. He was a man of God. And yet, the life of the party! They taught me, at an early age, that you can be God fearing, as well as fun loving.  I love the photo of he and my dad in his uniform during WW2. My dad sure loved his little brother. And I am blessed to have been a part of his heritage.

I'll never forget when I was working 1 day n Mr. J came in n was asking "who  owns the Blue Impala?" "I said I do, would you like me to move it?" "He said NO,I just stopped it from rolling down the hill" it had jumped out of gear OR I diden't put it all the way into gear, I was so in-bare-ist, My car was a mess inside!!! I said T Y and we just giggled about it. Mr.J to my rescue with those twinkling eyes when ever he 
smiled...Thank You Mr.J :)

So many memories!  Hunting  - on the lake - getting lost in the woods and being found by Don. So much to recall.  My great regret is that I never mead it to Maine for a vissit.  It seems that there are always priorities in life but, in the final analysis, the only priorities of  value are friends and family. And the greatest value in the end, is Memories. - Don shall not slumber long!

A plethora of memories flood in as I review the photo gallery and the video prepared.  How well I recall the times spent in the woods and on the lake. I regret tht I never got to Maine.  It seems that life always demands priorities that, in the final analysis don't seem so important after all.  Only Memories last. - You shall not slumber long, my friend!

So sorry to hear my favorite uncle has gone to be with the Lord. I have fond memories of our time together, working in his body shop in Jamestown, taking us fishing,letting us shoot his guns. My favorite memory was when he took me Skeet shooting. I still talk about it with Margie every time we go by the range on Hunt rd. Every time he visited Bemus Point he always seemed genuinely glad to see me and spend time talking to me. There are few men I admire more than him , he was a good, kind, and upright man, the kind of man I aspire to be.

Don was a very dear brother!  We live way across the country in WA State, but we enjoyed traveling across the country to be with him and his family many times.  He was always very thoughtful and caring.  He will be greatly missed.  We look forward to meeting him again when our Lord returns!  Love and great memories,  Helen & Dick

Sorry to hear of Mr. Johnson's passing. I know he was much loved. I extend my heartfelt sympathies to Carol, Eric, and Matty and to all Carol's extended family.

Don Johnson was everyone in the family's favorite uncle. So kind and loving to us all. Many wonderful memories.  Will miss him greatly. At a loss for words. Love you forever Uncle Don.
