Yarmouth – Elizabeth Adams Fuller passed away April 28, 2018 in Yarmouth, ME. She was born on December 21, 1915 the daughter of Mabel McCafferty Adams and William H. Adams. She attended Portland schools graduating from Deering High School in 1934.
After graduation she worked as a bookkeeper for Bailey Auto Supplies, Goff’s, and Southworth. During World War II, she and her sister, Althea were volunteer plane spotters to help in the war effort. She later volunteered at the Women’s Exchange in Portland, The Victoria Mansion, and Foreside Community Church.
In 1941 she married her husband Robert L. Fuller and they remained married until his death in 2005. They lived in Falmouth where she resided until 2017 prior to moving to Yarmouth. Both Elizabeth and Bob where very active in their community and spent many happy days with their children and grandchildren.
Beth is survived by her son Edward R. Fuller and wife Grace, daughter Judith (Judy) Nappi and husband Ben, five grandchildren Jason and wife Melissa Nappi, Geoffrey and wife Jennifer Nappi, Erica and husband Chris Green, Robert and wife Sarah Fuller, and Adam Fuller, six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter Margaret (Peggy) Fuller and sister’s Margaret Adams and Althea Morgan, and brother James Adams.
The family would like to thank everyone at Bay Square in Yarmouth for their kind attention during her final year.
There will be a graveside service at Pinegrove Cemetery in Falmouth on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at 11:00am.
