Jesse Parker Zacks

Cumberland – Jesse Parker Zacks, 19, of Cumberland died on Monday October 11, 2010 as a result of an ATV accident. He was born in Portland on August 9, 1991, the son of Sandra Lee Parker and Charles M. Zacks, M.D. He was educated in Cumberland schools and graduated with Honors from Greely High School, Class of 2009.

Jesse had a great love of Morgan horses and was learning to break, train and show them. He also loved anything with an engine, be it a car, snow mobile, an ATV or the motorboat he built with his dad. He had a small and tight circle of friends whom he loved and appreciated, and his constant companion was a boxer named Dega. His parents will remember him as a loving son and a hard worker who will be greatly missed by all.

Jesse is survived by his parents, Sandra and Charles of Cumberland; his maternal grandparents, Clyde and Viola Parker of Rochester, NY; his paternal grandmother, Marilyn Zacks of Falmouth, MA; his uncle, Bill Parker of Chicago, IL; his aunt and uncle Drs. Marc and Susan Post, of Beachwood, OH; his aunt Nancy Zacks of Providence, RI; and his cousins, Anna and Sara Post of Beachwood, OH; as well as a devoted network of extended family and friends.
