Ramona Gail Robbins

She was born in Castine, ME on March 24, 1948 the daughter of Foster Sr. and Beryl Bowden Robbins. She attended local schools and college at Gordon College. She worked many years at The Shoppers Notes (The Notes) and was a Sales Clerk at Toyland.

Ramona had an incredible love for animals especially cats and horses. She had a very special dog that she named Geraldine after one of her favorite actresses. She attended the local Baptist church and taught Sunday school helping all the young people learn their religion. Ramona loved to go camping and would sometimes spend 3 to 4 weeks at a time in New Hampshire with her family camping. While camping they would all jump in the car and just go take a ride to look at the beauty of nature and take in its glory. She loved to read books like Nancy Drew and the Hardy Boys or watch the older English Plot movies and Japanese Animations.

She is survived by her brother Foster Robbins Jr. and a very dear lifelong friend Clifford Gregor. She was predeceased by her parents.

A graveside service will be conducted at the families’ convenience at Riverside Cemetery in Yarmouth, ME.
