

North Yarmouth – Roseann “Rose” Quatrano Stoddard passed away peacefully on June 3, 2010 in her home with her family by her side. She was born in Portland, ME on April 10, 1951 to Aneillio and Veronica (Barney) Quatrano, who have predeceased her.
On August 3rd, 1968 she married the love of her life and best friend Harold Stoddard III. Together they raised three daughters sharing special times as a family. They enjoyed camping and canoeing the different lakes and rivers, with the Allagash being their favorite. Roseann was also involved in Brownies and Girl Scouts when her daughters were young and also coached softball with her husband, enjoying every minute of it.
Rose worked for the Portland Housing Authority as a senior housing officer for 24 years. She graduated from Portland High School in 1969 and graduated from USM with Honors in Business Administration in 1996.
Rose was an incredibly wonderful woman with a warm smile, kind heart and sense of humor that was loved by all who knew her. She was the sunshine in all of our lives but most of all – her husband’s.
Rose is survived by her husband Harold; three daughters: Diana Dimock and son-in-law Curtis Dimock; Nicole Randall and son-in-law Shaun Randall; Kerry Ann Jordan and son-in-law Eugene Jordan; her grandchildren: Jacqueline Rose Peters, Samuel Austin Randall, Benjamin Paul Randall, Kassidy Rose Jordan and great-grandson Rylan Ernest Aaron Moore. Also, her sisters: Theresa McGarvey; Dolores Hogle and brother-in-law Robert Hogle; Donna Church and brother-in-law Ronald Church and her brother Frank Quatrano.
A wake will be held on Monday June 7, 2010 from 4:00 – 8:00 PM in the church hall of the North Yarmouth Congregational Church, corner of Route 115 & Route 231, North Yarmouth. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday June 8 at 11:00 AM at the North Yarmouth Congregational Church with a reception immediately following in the church hall. Burial will be at 2:00 PM in Holy Cross Cemetery, Yarmouth.
