She was a graduate of Natick (MA) High School. She was the youngest of seven children and married Crawford G. Bayer. She was an avid quilter and an active member of the Fireman's Auxiliary, Sweet Adeline's and the Foreside Community Church (especially the choir).
Over the years she was employed by North Yarmouth Academy and L.L. Bean.
She is survived by her daughter Brenda J. Twinem of Bradenton, FL, son Rodney Crawford Bayer of Falmouth. Grandchildren, Amelia Twinem Lyons of Bradenton FL, Portia Reilly Bayer of Newmarket, NH, Adrienne Jeanette Twinem of Washington DC, and Army 1st Lt. Reilly Gardner Bayer of Tacoma, WA. And great grandchildren, Cecilia Bess Lyons and Callum Robert Lyons. She will be so missed by all of us.
A celebration of life will be held later this summer.
