Adele Olivas (nee Hernandez) of Yonkers died on Monday February 25, 2013 at age 92. She was born on February 20, 1921 in San Antonio, Texas. She has been a Yonkers resident for over 40 years. Mrs. Olivas worked as a secretary for the Yonkers School System; serving at both the old Yonkers HS and Hawthorne Pearls. Adele was very active with the Ludlow Home Owners Association. She was predeceased by her husband Joseph and her daughter Maria. She is survived by her daughter Andrea (Ron) Murphy of Yonkers and her granddaughter Victoria Luchka. Funeral services were held at Whalen & Ball Funeral Home.
