Andrew Jasper Parker, Jr., a longtime Yonkers resident, died on Tuesday December 4, 2012 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Yonkers. He was 70 years old. He was born on April 1, 1942 to Andrew Jasper Sr. and Mary Wiggins Parker in Durham, N.C. where he was raised and educated. Mr. Parker was a chauffeur for the Jawonio Corporation in Yonkers for many years. On February 25, 1967, he married Shirley Scott in Yonkers. Mrs. Parker survives and lives in Yonkers. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his mother, Mary Wiggins Parker of Yonkers, two sons, Lonnie Parker of Nanuet, N.Y. and Curtis Parker of Yonkers and one daughter, Denise Parker of Yonkers. He is also survived by six grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Visiting hours will be at Whalen & Ball Funeral Home on Monday December 10th from 1-5 pm. A memorial service will also be held on Monday at
7 pm. in the Kingdom Hall of Yonkers, 57 Highland Avenue, Yonkers, N.Y. 10705.
