Angelo Velez

He is survived by his wife, Renee, his daughters Madeline and Olivia, his mother, Judith, and his sisters Linda and Shirley. He was preceded in death by his father, Angelo G. Velez.

Angelo was a devoted and beloved husband, father, and son. His great love for his family and his Catholic faith defined his life. He also had a long career for the City of Yonkers spanning 20 years.

As a self-taught guitar player, Angelo was very fond of music and attending concerts. He also enjoyed traveling and sharing that joy with his family. His gregarious laugh, sense of humor and warm smile endeared him to many.

Visiting hours for Angelo will be held Thursday, March 6, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Whalen and Ball Funeral Home, 168 Park Avenue, Yonkers, NY 10703. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Immaculate Heart of Mary Roman Catholic Church, 8 Carman Road, Scarsdale, NY 10583 on Friday, March 7, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 575 Hillside Ave., White Plains, N.Y. 10603
