Ann Molony

Ann Molony (nee Lawrence) of Yonkers died on Friday December 7, 2012 at age 76. Born on September 18, 1936 to Ira and Marion Lawrence in Yonkers where she was raised and graduated from Commerce High School. Mrs. Molony worked in the Mortgage and Finance Department with Citi-Corp in Rockland County for over 19 years. In 1983 she married Gerard Molony in St. Ann’s Church in Nyack; he died in 2002. Ann was a parishioner of Christ the King Church and volunteered at their rectory. She also was an avid reader. She is survived by 3 children; Joanne (Karl) Johnson of Florida, Michael Connolly of Yonkers and Maureen (Brian) Bernacchia of Yonkers and her 7 grandchildren; Dereck, Noel, Daniel, Nicholas, Patrick, Samantha and Marie and her brother Clyde Lawrence. She was predeceased by 2 children; Judy Connolly (2004) and John Connolly (2012); her sister Marion and her brother Ira Lawrence. Visitation will be at Whalen & Ball Funeral Home on Sunday December 9, 2012 from 3pm to 8pm. Funeral Mass will be in Christ the King Church on Monday December 10, 2012 at 10am.
