Celia B. Sajdak

Celia B. Sajdak (nee Kosik) of Yonkers died on Monday February 14, 2011 at age 93. She was born on May 10, 1918 to Simon and Bertha Kosik in Penn. On November 14, 1936 she married Marian (Mike) Sajdak in St. Casimir’s Church, he predeceased her. Celia was a parishioner of St. Casimir’s Church and had a weekly schedule which included Monday she played cards, especially pinochle, Tuesday she attended the Senior Center at the Polish, Thursday she did cancer pads at St. Casimir’s and Friday served as a bingo volunteer and enjoyed her Mets all summer long. Mrs. Sajdak is survived by her 3 daughters Jean C. (Robert) Treco, Patricia (Robert) Dwyer and Eileen (James) Castaldo. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren and 2 sisters Sophia Rogalski and Elizabeth Edwards. She was predeceased by John and Mary Kosik. Visiting hours will be in the Whalen & Ball Funeral Home Tuesday and Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be in St. Casimir’s Church on Thursday February 17th at 10am. Interment in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
