Cynthia W. Knox (nee Warren), a lifelong Yonkers resident, died on Thursday November 20, 2014 at Calvary Hospital. She was 72 years old. She was born on January 12, 1942 to Layton and Marjorie Parker Warren in Yonkers where she was raised and educated. Mrs. Knox was a school aide for the City of Yonkers School #9 for 14 years until her retirement in 2002. On November 28, 1970, she married her loving husband, John Knox in the Reform Church in Yonkers. Mr. Knox died in 2000. Mrs. Knox is survived by her three daughters, Marjorie Kalogridis and her husband George of Yonkers and Emily and Kathleen Knox, both of Yonkers. She is also survived by her three grandchildren, Xavier Cardona, Julien Rodriguez and Jaiden White. Visiting hours will be at Whalen & Ball Funeral Home on Sunday 2-4 & 7-9pm. A funeral service will be held in the Funeral Home on Monday November 24th at 10am. Entombment will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery.
