Edward C. Jones

Edward C. Jones, a lifelong Yonkers resident died on Monday, July 27, 2015 at age 77. Born on July 5, 1938 to Mary and Leonard Jones. Ed Graduated from Gorton High School and Westchester Community College. On April 5, 1959 he married the love of his life Roseann (nee Musci). Ed founded Elcon Estimating Services, Inc., in 1985 with his sons, where he worked as the Chief Electrical Estimator for over twenty five years. He was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Church, a member of the American Society of Professional Estimators, Secretary of the Electricians Bowling League, a board member at Greystone CO-OP 1, a member of the Amackassin Club, and he loved the New York Mets. Besides his wife Roseann, he is survived by his three sons, Edward (Elizabeth) Jones, Robert (Concetta) Jones, and Keith Jones. His five grandchildren, Gabriella, Robert, Juliana, Edward and Adam, and his great grandson Thomas Robert Dunne and his sister Ann Porcaro of Dix Hills, N.Y. He was predeceased by his brother William (Bill) Jones, his Brother-in-Law Richard Musci. He is also survived by his Sister-in-Law Mary Racioppi of Rockaway, N.J. and his Sister-in-Law and Brother-in-Law Nancy and John Botcheller of Middletown, Rhode island, and many loving nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be at the Whalen & Ball Funeral on Friday from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be in Sacred Heart Church on Saturday, August 1st at 9:30 a.m. Interment St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
