
Eileen M. Rosato (nee Totten) of Yonkers died on Sunday February 19, 2012 at age 81. She was born on August 12, 1930 to Philip and Agnes (Burns) Totten in Yonkers where she was raised and graduated from Commerce H.S. Mrs. Rosato worked as an Import Coordinator for Ciba-Gieghy for many years. On November 18, 1950 she married Anthony Rosato in Holy Rosary Church; he survives. She was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Church; a Eucharistic Minister at the church, a member of Solanus Casey Group and did volunteer work at St. John’s Hospital. Besides her husband Anthony; she is survived by her 3 children, Mark Rosato of Sarasota Fla, Debra Casagrande of Yonkers and Jay Rosato of Yonkers. She is also survived by 3 grandchildren; Alyson, Julianne and Mark Anthony. She was predeceased by her son Keith who died in 1962, her son in law John Casagrande who died in 1982, 3 brothers Sylvester, Paul and William and 5 sisters Veronica, Phyllis, Uma, Patricia and Gene. Visiting hours will be 2-4 & 7-9pm on Thursday in the Whalen & Ball Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in Sacred Heart Church on Friday February 24th at 9:30am. Interment will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Solanus Casey Prayer Group c/o Sacred Heart Church 110 Shonnard Place Yonkers, NY 10703.
