Ida B. Camperlengo, 94, died on Tuesday March 1, 2011. She was born in Otego, NY on September 11, 1916 to the late Elwin and Lena Waite Pickett. After graduating second in her class and took a 3 year course at Flower Hospital School of Nursing in NYC and became an R.N. Ida and her husband Vito were married on April 19, 1940. Vito predeceased her on August 13, 2010. She is survived by her daughter Kathleen Hallinan, her son Michael (Fran), her son William (Rosemary), 7 grandchildren Sharon, Christopher and Mark Hallinan, Michael Camperlengo, Victoria Yilmaz, William Camperlengo and Jeanine Kramer. Also surviving are 11 grandchildren her sister Esther Hutchinson, sister-in-Law Catherine Thomey and several nieces and nephews. Two grandchildren David Hallinan and Jennifer Camperlengo predeceased her. Visiting hours will be Friday from 11am to 12:30pm. Funeral Service will be at 12:30pm at the funeral home. Comittal service will be in Ferncliff Chapel, Rev. David Lothrop officiating.
