Joseph Charles DeBlasi was born June 11, 1954 and was a life-long resident of Yonkers, NY. Known as Joe by most and often affectionately called Jo-Jo by his deceased mom, he was a devout Catholic and long-time parishioner of Sacred Heart Church in Yonkers, where he had also attended Catholic School. Joe went to Pace University to study accounting and graduated to become a Certified Public Accountant. He spent his entire adult career working as a CPA for numerous businesses as well as assisting many friends and family with their annual tax returns.
At first glance, Joe could seem brusque or standoffish and at times confrontational. But those that knew him well, found a man of tremendous character and principles, with a sharp-witted sense of humor, a never-ending love of the NY Mets & NY Jets and by far, the single biggest animal lover on the planet. Joe’s spirit is now with God and he is ushered into the loving arms of his mother and father, Mary DellaCalce DeBlasi & Joseph DeBlasi. Joe leaves behind his brother, James DeBlasi, and his cat, Benny. He will forever be missed.
