Joyce Spaun

She was born on April 1st, 1933 in Yonkers, NY. She married Michael Spaun on July 3, 1954. She attended Sacred Heart Grade and High School and was a Yonkers native. Joyce was a devoted catholic and truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; chatting with family, friends and neighbors, snacking on her sweets, watching her English TV shows, sitting on her porch while enjoying the birds, her plants, her book and the bells from church in the fresh air. Joyce had an uncanny ability to reach people in a deep, positive and kind way. She is survived by her children Annemarie, Tommy (Robin), Jeanne (Angelo), Timothy & Ellen and many grandchildren & great grandchildren. Family & friends and others whose lives Joyce touched are invited to Whalen & Ball Funeral Home, 168 Park Ave Yonkers, NY from 3:00pm to 9:00pm on Friday December 23rd to reminisce, grieve, support each other and of course chat. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Sacred Heart Church on Saturday December 24th at 9:15am followed by the Burial at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
