

Robert T. Donohue of White Plains, N.Y., passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 3, 2017, with his two devoted sisters by his side. He was born on July 28, 1961, in Yonkers. He attended Public School #4 and Mark Twain School in Yonkers. He then became a client of the WARC in Yonkers for thirty-five wonderful years, where he met many of his lifelong friends. Robert loved listening to music, playing his guitar, singing into his microphone, and dancing. Robert was predeceased by his loving parents, Margaret (Fline) and Peter T. Donohue Sr., and his devoted brother Peter T. Donohue Jr. He is survived by his two loving sisters, Patricia Donohue of White Plains and Maureen Donohue of Yonkers, and his two brothers, Kevin (Patsy) of Yonkers and John (Pat) of Mechanicville, N.Y. He also leaves behind a sister-in-law, Dreama Donohue of Yonkers, as well as three nieces, Erin Harker (Sean), Sarah Constantine (Mike), and Bridget Donohue; his godson and nephew, Peter Donohue of Yonkers; and three other nephews, Sean Donohue (Michaela), Brian Donohue, and Kevin Donohue (April). Robert was a kind and loving great uncle to Declan and Sydney Harker, as well as several other great nieces and nephews. Robert will be remembered for his unconditional love for his family and friends. His smile was amazing, as was his ability to make people laugh. He will be missed by many and will remain forever in our hearts. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Robert’s name to the Westchester ARC Foundation, in care of Gleason-Israel Gateway Center, 265 Saw Mill River Road, Hawthorne, N.Y. 10532. Visiting hours will be at Whalen & Ball Funeral Home on Sunday, 2–4 & 7–9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Anthony’s Church on Monday, August 7th, at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
