Robert D. Ingenito

Robert D. Ingenito, a resident of Mt. Vernon and Myrtle Beach, SC died on Wednesday May 3, 2017 at St. John’s Riverside Hospital. He was 77 years old. He was born on December 6, 1939 to Louis and Mary Caravalli Ingenito in the Bronx where he was raised and educated. Mr. Ingenito was a onetime parishioner of Sacred Heart Church. He was a member of the National Rifle Association and enjoyed cooking, hunting and fishing. On March 17, 1973, he married his loving wife, Norma Gervino at St. Benedict’s Church in the Bronx. Mrs. Ingenito survives and lives in Myrtle Beach. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Robert L. Ingenito and his wife, Valerie of Norwalk, CT, a daughter, Luann Gentile and her husband, Frankie of Briarcliff Manor and a sister, Josephine Castaldo of the Bronx. He is also survived by his two grandsons, Joseph and Andrew. He was predeceased by two sisters, Louise Ingenito and Jeanette Siciliano. Visiting hours will be at Whalen & Ball Funeral Home on Friday 4-8pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Sacred Heart Church on Saturday May 6th at 11am. Cremation will follow at Ferncliff Crematory.
