Robert Kopp

Robert P. Kopp of Yonkers died on Sunday, June 8, 2014 at age 84. Born on July 18, 1929 to Andrew and Catherine (Lohrfink) Kopp in Yonkers where he was raised and graduated from Saunders High School. Mr. Kopp was the Associate Director of Technical Course Development for N.Y. Telephone Company in New York City until his retirement in 1984. On March 25, 1951 he married Beverly Hudak in Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, she survives. Bob was a member of both the Lud-Dales and Amackassin Clubs. He served as past President with the Lud-Dales and Membership Director with the Amackassin, where he enjoyed tennis and bowling. He also received an Honorable discharged as a Sergeant in the U.S. Army during the Korean war. Besides he wife Beverly, he is survived by his three sons; Robert (Roseanna) Jr; Jeffrey (Theresa) and Steven Kopp; four grandchildren and one great-grandson Carter. He was predeceased by his son Donald. Visiting hours will be at the Whalen & Ball Funeral Home on Friday, June 13th from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. only. Funeral services will be at the funeral home on Saturday, June 14th at 10:00 a.m. Pastor Rob Carter Officiating. Interment Mt. Hope Cemetery.
