Robert Kressman, 85, who peacefully left us on January 3, 2025. Born in Yonkers to the late Andrew and Catherine Kressman, Bob was a proud graduate of Cardinal Spellman High School. His dedication to his country led him to serve honorably in the U.S. Army, where he proudly protected the freedoms we hold dear.
Bob married his beloved Frances Weaver, and together they shared a life filled with love, and 3 children. He retired from Refined Sugars in Yonkers, where his work ethic and loyalty were greatly admired.
Bob’s passions were many, and his heart belonged to his family. He was an avid fan of the Mets, the Washington Redskins, and Notre Dame, but it was his love for his grandchildren and great-grandchildren that truly defined him. His pride in their accomplishments, big and small, was a constant source of joy.
In addition to his parents, Bob was predeceased by his sisters, Jeanne Kressman, Joyce Fredrick, and Joan Dimase.
His memory lives on through his loving children, Robert Kressman of Yonkers, Richard (Christine Santanastasio) Kressman of Yonkers, and Lisa Kressman of Poughquag. Also survived by ex-wife, Frances Kressman. Bob is also survived by his devoted siblings, Ronald (Barbara) Kressman of Unionvale, NY, James Kressman of Yonkers, and Carol (Malowski) Kressman of Attica, NY.
His legacy continues through his cherished grandchildren: Marissa DeJesus, Benny (Vanessa) Kressman, Raymond Stefanik, Robert Stefanik, Richard (Stephanie) Kressman, Michael Kressman, Robert Kressman, and Thomas Kressman. He was also blessed with treasured great-grandchildren: Aniya DeJesus, Isaiah DeJesus, Aliyah DeJesus, Deanna Laudicina, Kaiden Kressman, Parker Kressman, and Jayce Kressman.
Bob’s love for his family, his laughter, and his kind heart will be missed more than words can express. He touched the lives of everyone he met, leaving behind a legacy of love, humor, and devotion. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
