Roberta M. Mishk Mazzarese Thompson died on November 2, 2014 at St. Josephs Hospital. She was 51 years old. She was born November 8, 1962 to Robert and Virginia Mishk. She is survived by 2 brothers John & Terence Grady, 1 sister Joanne Cetnarowicz, 7 children, Gerald Jr., Robert, Christopher, & Eric Mazzarese and George Jr.,Harmony,& Patrick Thompson, 8 grandchildren, Xavier, Kristen, Christian, Alicia, Christopher, Eric Jr.,Gerald III and Jason, 4 nieces and 1 nephew. She was predeceased by 1 brother, Bruce. Roberta was a long time volunteer with the Salvation Army. She was also a former member of the Gorton H.S. PTA and Football Association. Roberta also volunteered at the North Yonkers Boys & Girls Club. She was a wonderful NaNa to all her grandchildren, a great mother, and an animal lover. Visitation will be at Whalen & Ball Funeral Home on Thursday November 6th. from 2-4 & 7-9pm. Funeral Service will be on Friday November 7th. at the Funeral Home at 10am with a cremation to follow at Ferncliff Crematory.
