

Born on March 2, 1943, William was the beloved son of the late John Thomas Mulvihill and Lillian Mulvihill (née Hess). He lived a life defined by devotion to his family, strength, and a deep sense of loyalty to those he loved.
William is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 61 years, Diane Mulvihill (née Manfriedi), whose unwavering support, care, and dedication were a constant source of strength and comfort throughout their marriage. Together, they built a family rooted in love and enduring commitment.
William dedicated many years of service to the City of Yonkers, Department of Sanitation. He was also the proud owner of Bill and Jerry’s Towing and formerly owned the 401 Club Bar in Yonkers, where he formed many lasting friendships within the community.
Known for his gift of the gab, William had a natural ability to strike up a conversation with anyone and made friends wherever he went. His outgoing personality and warm spirit left a lasting impression on all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
He was a proud father to his son, Joseph Mulvihill; his daughter, Kelli Ann Kressman (née Mulvihill); and his daughter-in-law, Tina Mulvihill.
He was a cherished grandfather to Bobby Kressman, Tommy Kressman, and Matthew Mulvihill. He also shared a special bond with his granddaughters-in-law, Leah Kressman and Kerri Shea, who brought additional joy to his life.
William had a deep love for his dogs, Rosie, Baxter, and Boomer, who were constant companions. He enjoyed traveling and going on cruises with his beloved wife Diane, as well as the simple pleasures of life—playing lottery tickets, smoking his Marlboro cigarettes, and spending evenings watching television together.
William is survived by his siblings Marie, Catherine, Jimmy, Kim, Michael, and Joe as well as many loving nieces and nephews who will remember him fondly.
He is also survived by his in-laws, including his brother-in-law Richard Borek and wife Joanne , and his sister-in-law Theresa Pandiscia, whose husband Bill predeceased her.

William will be remembered for his steady presence, his dedication to family, and the warmth he extended to everyone around him. His legacy lives on in the generations he helped shape and the countless memories shared with those who loved him.
He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
Visitation will be Thursday April 2nd from 4pm to 8pm. At Whalen & Ball Funeral Home.
