

Ernie was born July 20, 1942 to Father Benjamin C. Lozano and Mother Nellie Salgado Lozano who are all now reunited in heaven along with his two brothers Manuel Salgado and Louie Lozano.
Ernie was born and raised in Santa Ana and loved all things Orange County, he had a calling to serve his country and enlisted in the U.S. Navy on July 28th 1959 at 17 years old. He married his first love Gloria on July 14, 1960 and they began their life together. Ernie would be stationed overseas so they wrote to each other constantly until he left active duty for the reserves in 1965 as a 3rd Class Petty Officer.
Gloria and Ernie built an incredible life together. They loved to travel which they did often, they raised 4 children, and started a very successful business together. Ernie was the past president of the Cement Mason Union, local 52. Owner of G&L Tennis Courts and Construction Company. He loved music, avid western and war movies. He was a football fan, and loved to watch a good baseball game he especially loved to watch his Angels play.
He is survived by his loving wife Gloria; their children Arlene, Ernie Jr., Joanne, and Corinne; Granddaughters, nephews, nieces, cousins, and many loyal friends.
His tireless love and devotion to his family was evident throughout his life and his spirit will live on through those who loved him.
A Celebration of his life will be held at his home after. Our family can't wait to hear all the stories and favorite memories you have about our beloved Ernie.
