Newberry Twp - Ashton David Potts, age 12, of Newberry Township, Manchester, died at 1:33 PM Monday, September 3, 2018 at his residence. He was the son of David W. Potts and Shannah L. (Underwood) Potts, both of York.
Born on May 11, 2006, in Spring Garden Township, he was a seventh grade student at Northeastern Middle School.
In addition to his parents, Ashton is survived by his sister, McKenzie M. Potts; his brother, Braunsyn K. Williams; maternal grandparents, Dean J. and Kimberly C. (Fetters) Gray, with whom he lived; his paternal grandparents, Marshall C., III and Debrah A. (Sage) Busser, of York; maternal great grandmother, Cheryl A. (Butcher) Fetters, of York; and maternal great great grandfather, Marlett Naill, of York.
A memorial service is scheduled for 6:00 PM Thursday, September 6, 2018 at William E. Little Funeral Homes, Inc., 60 South Main Street, Manchester, with Pastor Gordon Skip Bowen, officiating. Visitation will be 4-6:00 PM Thursday. Burial will be private. William E. Little Funeral Homes, Inc. is donating their services, staff, and facilities to honor Ashton's life.
