William E Neiman

York - William E. "Bill" Neiman, 76, entered into rest on Friday June 15, 2018 at Manor Care Dallastown. He was the husband of the late Jayne L. (Hilker) Neiman. He was born October 28, 1941, in Jacobus, the son of the late Kenneth and Mary (Spangler) Neiman.

He served in the U.S. Air Force reserves. He worked as a truck driver and guard for Purlator and later Loomis armed trucks. He later retired from Graham Packaging as a fork lift operator and material handler. He was a member of Living Word Community Church. He volunteered for Habit for Humanity where he received an award for his service.

A viewing will be 9 to 10 a.m. Wednesday at the John W. Keffer Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 902 Mt. Rose Ave., with a funeral service to follow at 10 a.m. with the Rev. John Hilliard officiating. Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens.

Bill is survived by a daughter, Wendy S. Campbell and husband, Wade of Washington State; a son, Kenneth C. Neiman and wife, Crystal of York; five grandchildren, Beth Sowards, Jordon Neiman, Haley Wagner, Elaina Neiman and Jebahdiah Neiman; a great-granddaughter, Lilly Neiman; a sister, Judy Huber of York. A son, William E. Neiman, Jr., and sister, Mercedes Hare, preceded Bill in death.
