Brian Charles Roberts

Brian Charles Roberts of Sun City, Arizona passed away on November 13, 2017. He was born on March 16, 1959 to Joyce Roberts (Householder) and Carl L. Householder. Brian grew up in Peoria, Arizona and graduated from Peoria High School in 1979. Attended Phoenix College, ASU and received a degree from Albuquerque Technical Vocational in Radio Broadcasting. He enlisted in the Air Force and was stationed at Grand Forks AFB, Ramstein, Germany, Kirtland, NM AFB as Sgt. Admin. Assistant and Air Force Reserves through 1989. He began his career at the Arizona Department of Correction in 1987, qualified as a TSU sharpshooter for Perryville State Prison and retired in 2015 as an Assistant Deputy Warden with over 25 years of service. Brian is survived by three sisters: Carla Bruessel, Lori Roberts and Lisa Roberts; nephews: Scott Harris and Joel Bruessel; nieces: Brianne Razcon, Christa Bruessel, Jessica Bruessel, and Heather Roberts; grandnephews: Shane Harris, Xavier Razcon and Jude Barrett; grandnieces: Faith Roberts, Lily Harris and Ariella Razcon. Full military honors at National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona on Friday, November 17 at 10:30 a.m. provided by Air Force and ADOC honor guard. All friends and family are welcome to attend. In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to the Pat Tillman foundation, pattillmanfoundation.org.
