Iris was born to Harry and Helen Wilson in Michigan. She was a wife to Charles (Deceased). Mother of 3 sons, Doug, John (Deceased) and Charles Jr. She is a Grand Mother and Great Grandmother.
In her early years, Iris contributed to the war effort during World War II, as one of the “Rosie the Riveter”. She was known to be the best at installing bomb racks and making hydraulic hoses for our military planes.
Her hobby was crocheting. She made beautiful blankets, hats, scarfs, and even ornaments.
She was an avid music lover and could remember the lyrics of her childhood songs. She would be excited to hear a favorite song and loved to listen to her CD’s and radio.
Iris loved to be around children and enjoyed her Great Grandson, whom she lived with in her last years. Iris was a Kind Woman, with a willing smile for everyone she came in contact with.
She had 4 Grand Children, and 2 Great Grand Children.
